Our Mission

Ilera Cares provides free and low-cost medical and mental-health services to patients who cannot afford care. We combine direct clinical care with workforce development, offering hands-on training, scholarships, internships, and after-school programs that prepare youth and adult learners for careers in healthcare. Complementing clinical and educational work, our elderly, housing, and community programs deliver wellness support, social engagement, and health education to help older adults remain independent and connected. By integrating care, training, and community supports, we reduce barriers to health, create local healthcare career pipelines, and build healthier, more resilient neighborhoods.
